Dissertation
I began working at SHU in 2016 having previously taught at University of Nottingham, University of Sheffield, and University of Hull.
As a historian of the modern United States, I am interested in US foreign policy and international development. In particular, my research has focused on US relations with Iran during the Cold War and I am currently working on a project that examines the role of philanthropy in US-Iranian relations.
Outside of work, I enjoy music (punk rock), cooking (anything but especially curry), and going for long walks (preferably in the countryside). I am also a recent convert to the practice of meditation and mindfulness.
